The only 5 planners you need for 2021
“Divide each difficulty into as many parts as is feasible and necessary to resolve it.”
Most people would rather plan their vacation than plan their lives.
However, planning at least certain aspects of your life has great benefits:
It keeps you from being completely overwhelmed with all the to-dos in your head
It can help you avoid procrastination - and focus on what really needs to be done
It helps manage your stress levels
Keeping the overview can help you get more done
A good plan will keep you from missing deadlines and forget appointments!
As a neuro-transformational productivity coach, I believe planning is crucial to get more done in less time (and with less overwhelm). That’s why I’ve created five different types of planners, each with their own purposes and intentions, to help business owners get on top of things.
#1: Goal Planner for 2021 - “Simply More Vision”
What can a goal planner help you do?
This is a yearly planner to create your dreams and goals. It will help you break your goals down to manageable bit-sized pieces, so you don’t get overwhelmed by the big picture. Each quarter, you’ll get to break your yearly goal into monthly and weekly goals.
On top of that, at the end of the year, you’ll have something to look back at and review - so you can plan an even more successful 2022.
Who is it for:
This planner is perfect for anyone who has dreams and wants to go for them! It’s very efficient if you’re one of those people who who start off the year strong, but need to refresh throughout the year.
Why you need the 2021 vision planner:
Where do you want to be at the end of the year? Do you want to be in the same place as right now? What big dreams do you have? Anything is doable if you break down the goals into doable pieces.
Writing down your big picture dreams and goals and breaking them down make them more attainable. It helps to keep your focus on what needs to be done.
#2: monthly Planner - “Simply Enough Monthly”
What does this monthly planner help you with?
A monthly planner gives you a breakdown of all of your due dates and appointments. I love using this planner for bill paying!
It helps to get important dates out of your head, and onto paper. It’s a great tool to start with if you’re not a born planner.
You’ll never miss a deadline again!
Who is it for:
This is for planning minimalist. It will show you the big picture and when things have to be done - no frills, no clutter.
#3: Weekly planner - “Simply enough weekly”
What does this weekly planner help you with?
This is a planner with each day of the week in a 2 page spread.
Depending on what you like, you can get them vertical or horizontal
This is a little more planning than a monthly plan
Can break down monthly goals to weekly goals to see a week at a glance
If you look at a monthly calendar, but realise that there isn’t enough information for you, this might be better. Still minimal planning, but more detail than a monthly. There is more room to add notes.
Who is it for:
This is for someone who needs more of a breakdown on what needs to be done during the week.
I love to be able to see each day at a glance that has all of my appointments, actions and tasks that need to be done.
#4: Simply More Weekly Add-On
What this add-on to the weekly planner helps you do:
This is one of my specially made planner add-ons. I like to be able to plan my week before my week starts.
The add-on has got an extra brainstorming and braindumping area…
You can plan your week by time breakdown…
And break your projects down by area of your life
Add habit tracking to the mix…
As well as menu planning!
Review your sheets to analyse your path towards your goals.
Who is add-on for:
This is for anyone who has so much going on, that they need a bit more focus. You can pick and use whatever pages work for you (you don’t need to use all the add-ons). Some people love to schedule by day and blocking their time, others like to block their days by project.
If you don’t do anything else, the biggest and best thing to do is a braindump. Write down everything you need to do that week. Get it out of your head and onto paper.
#5: Simply Enough Daily
What this daily planner helps you do:
This planner gives you a very detailed daily breakdown.
It has room for
Gratitude, intentions, and end of day reviews
Daily affirmation: “I am…”
Your 3 Most Important Actions of the day (as well as other tasks)
Daily time breakdown
Who is it for:
This is for anyone who needs daily focus. When you set up your day ahead of time, you get motivated and clear on your actions for the day. I love the mindset additions that get your day started in a positive way.
Add stickers, add notes, get excited about planning!
