#1 Hack to Decrease Overwhelm



If you’re lost in a sea of ideas without a real plan to get things done, it can lead to anxiety - you’re always worrying about what needs to be done and when. 



My #1 hack to tackle that anxiety is Braindumping. This simple technique will give you a clear idea of what needs to be done; you’ll have a clear mind, and an actionable plan to get to your goals. 


How to get braindumping: 



To start, you’ll need about an hour, a quiet place, your favourite drink, a notebook and a pen. 



  1. Starting with a Simple Braindump



Just write! Everything that is in your head that you need to do

or want to do.  Personal, family, business, home, they all need your

attention, just write it down.  It could be as simple as putting out

the garbage weekly, or as big as traveling the world.  This is your

space, your time. Don’t edit. That can be done later.



2. Optional: Colour-Code the Braindump



If you want to get a little colourful, just use highlighters! 

Go through your list and highlight each area in your life in a different

colour.  You could use green for business (money) for example.

Now you’ve finished the first step to getting out of overwhelm and

chaos!





3. Next: Organise your Life



In my practice as a neuro-transformational results coach, I have seen a Braindump create massive energy changes from anxiety and stress to calm and control in many of my clients.

But, you need to use it.

Do it monthly, weekly, daily. Whenever you need to clean out your mind. Don’t let it just sit in your computer. It does nothing for you there!
